DESCRIPTION:Join Keep Tempe Beautiful on Saturday\, January 8th at 10 am to learn about sustainability. \nCommunity Leaders will be presenting at Escalante Community Garden (Located behind the Escalante Community Center at 2150 E. Orange St) each month on a different topic. \n  \nThis month’s topic is: Community Science with Metro Phoenix EcoFlora \nDo you want to learn more about the plants and wildlife that live in metro Phoenix while helping scientists? The Metro Phoenix EcoFlora project is studying urban biodiversity and you can help! The free iNaturalist app can identify plants and wildlife for you\, and your observations help scientists understand more about which species are living here and how they interact with one another.\n\nParticipants are encouraged to download the iNaturalist app before the events.\n\nWebsite\niNaturalist project\n\nFeel free to come by earlier to help volunteer in the garden or get a garden tour. \nGarden Tours start at 8 am \nWorkshop Starts at 10 am \n  \nYou are welcome to sign up for just the workshop or in any time slot before volunteering at the garden. \n  \nSignup at: https://signup.com/go/pCdgFmx
