SUMMARY:KTB 1st Annual Tempe Tree-A-Thon Tree Planting Event
DESCRIPTION:Join Keep Tempe Beautiful on Saturday\, April 2nd\, 2022 for KTB’s 1st Annual Tempe Tree-A-Thon\, Sponsored by Silicon Valley Bank\, and in Association with Arizona State University Changemakers\, with Beverages Sponsored by Brick Road Coffee and Snacks Sponsored by Kettle Heros. \n \nThe event will consist of planting a total of 100 trees in multiple park locations around the City of Tempe in support of Earth Month and Arbor Day. The three locations where the tree plantings will take place are Escalante Park\, Hanger Park\, and Optimist Park. \nEscalante Park – 15 Trees – (8am to 11am) – East Orange Street\, Tempe\, AZ 85281 \nOptimist Park – 25 Trees – (9am to 12pm) – 2000 E Sesame St\, Tempe\, AZ 85283 \nHanger Park – 60 Trees – (9am to 12pm) – 501 E Knox Rd\, Tempe\, AZ 85284 \n  \nTrees will be in the holes ready to remove the tree boxes and backfill. KTB will provide the tools and gloves (or feel free to bring your own favorite gloves). Participants should bring water and wear sturdy shoes. \n  \nSignup at:
