SUMMARY:November 2026 Fill Garden Beds – Corona Del Sol High School
DESCRIPTION:🌱 Welcome\, Garden Heroes! 🌱 \nThank you for joining us to fill raised garden beds and complete several other tasks at Corona Del Sol High School! Your help will create beautiful\, productive growing spaces that will benefit students\, teachers\, and the whole school community for years to come. \n\nTo find the worksite\, park in the south lot by the intersection of Alexander Blvd and Rural Rd\, and walk through the large gates on the northern end of the tennis courts. Continue on then take a left until you see a large dirt lot next to the baseball field. You will see a large mound of soil and garden beds near the middle of that dirt lot; that’s the right place to be! \n\nWe’ve organized the day into three 1-hour shifts\, each focused on completing the same tasks in the following order: \n– Clean up debris/trimmings from cacti & other plants \n– Put a layer of wood chips in each garden bed \n– Fill garden beds with soil \n– Drill holes in pots \n– Set up watering system \n\n\nNo experience necessary — we’ll have tools\, instructions\, and experienced leads on site to guide everyone. \nWe can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together!
