DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: Please follow the map below for directions on how to get to the location. There is a City event that same time so many of the streets in that area will be closed. If you follow the map directions\, you should be fine. \n\nTake the 101 to McKellips Rd exit and go West \nTake Scottsdale Road South \n\nGo West on E Gilbert Dr. \nFollow the road straight until you go under the freeway. \n\nMake a right after the freeway into the Tempe Marina parking lot. \n  \n\nJoin Keep Tempe Beautiful on Saturday\, October 22nd to clean up the City of Tempe Community Boat House in a collaborative event with Silicon Valley Bank and their Tech Gives Back initiative. \n  \nHere is more information on what we will be working on: \n  \nTempe Town Lake Marina (Enter thru Curry/College and Go South Under the Freeway – You can search “Team Arizona Outrigger Canoe Club on Google Maps to take you there – it will not work on Apple Maps) : \no Trash and Litter Pickup \no Pulling Weeds and General Landscaping \no Painting \no Boathouse Upkeep \n  \n \n\nMap Guide: We’re meeting at the X\, you can park in the Circled Area \n  \n\nBring water/water bottle\, sunscreen\, hat\, and gloves. Your time slot will start and end on time; we won’t ask you to stay longer. \n  \nThere is no minimum age to participate in this event and we will have staff on-site to sign any documents for community service requirements. \n  \n1 Hour Shifts – 2 Shifts in Total: 8am-9am\, 9am-10am. \n  \nYou are welcome to sign up for one session or multiple. \n  \n\nClick the below link to Signup!
