DESCRIPTION:Join Keep Tempe Beautiful as we partner with Clean Up Papago and Tempe Councilmember Berdetta Hodge as part of her monthly “Breakfast with Berdetta” events on Saturday\, October 19th to Clean Up Papago Park. \n Keep Tempe Beautiful Cleanup Event  \n Date: Saturday\, October 19th \n Time: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. / (3) 1-Hour Shifts \n Location: Papago Park\, Tempe \n  \n Transportation: \nLet’s make this event sustainable! \n– Carpool\n– Ride your bike \n– Take public transport \n*Overflow parking available at the Arizona Heritage Center on College north of Curry.* \n Spread the Word: \nShare your moments and tag #keeptempebeautiful on social media. \nLet’s come together for a cleaner\, more beautiful Tempe! \nWe look forward to seeing you there!  \n#keeptempebeautiful #ktb #parkcleanup \n  \nWe’ll be meeting on the Southwest side of Curry and College at the Southernmost Rotonda in that area (see image below) \n \n  \nBring water\, sunscreen\, and a hat. Your time slot will start and end on time; we won’t ask you to stay longer. \nYou are welcome to sign up for one session or multiple. \n  \nWe are also looking for Day Chairs to assist in managing the event! \nDay Chairs are the life blood of our operations and are the first step to greater leadership opportunities within Keep Tempe Beautiful. Some of the things Day Chairs are tasked with are event setup / teardown\, sign-in / sign-outs\, in charge of the event raffle\, parking lot attendee\, diverting trash from recyclables\, photo / video taker\, and more! (these aren’t things that you choose\, rather\, everyone does a little of each depending where the needs are during the event). \nTo show our appreciation for the longer time commitment you are making\, each Day Chair will receive: \n\nOne FREE State Forty Eight Keep Tempe Beautiful Branded Neon Tee to be worn and utilized during the event for working as a Day Chair.
