About Joe
Joe moved out to Tempe in 2006 to start his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University after a four year enlistment in the US Navy. After graduation in 2010, he decided to enter business focused on film and video production with a close friend from college. In 2020, Joe started a daily habit of picking up litter from his neighborhood Tempe park while walking his dog. Always wanting to start a non-profit but not knowing what the focus area should be, a light bulb went off when he realized there was no local Tempe chapter of Keep America Beautiful, the #1 community improvement organization in the US. After finding a committed group of local residents to start the non-profit with and buy-in from local Tempe government leadership, Joe officially launched Keep Tempe Beautiful in early 2021.

This year Paul marks his 40th year residing in Tempe. He is an alumni of Tempe Leadership Class XXXIV and is currently a board member. Paul comes with 2+ decades of Professional Staffing Solutions experience with an emphasis on Information Technology, Engineering and Finance. He has placed over 10,000 professionals in his career.

Erin Murphy

About Erin
Erin is a Ph.D. candidate in Arizona State University’s Biology and Society program. She aims to develop sustainable and equitable solutions to marine conservation challenges by bridging the gap between research, policy, and management. Her dissertation research focuses on addressing marine plastic pollution. Outside of her research, Erin is dedicated to sustainability and waste management issues in Arizona. She serves on the boards of the Arizona Science and Policy Network and the Arizona Recycling Coalition.

Natalie McDonald

About Natalie
A Michigan native, Natalie moved to Tempe, Arizona in 2013 to attend Arizona State University and has been enjoying the desert ever since. After graduating with concurrent degrees in Marketing and Supply Chain Management and a minor in Sustainability, she joined Dircks Moving & Logistics as their Marketing Manager. Natalie is responsible for managing all marketing initiatives and campaigns for Dircks, an agent for Mayflower Van Lines and the largest and most diversified moving company in the state of Arizona. She is a graduate of the ASU Alumni Association Leadership Institute’s inaugural class and enjoys being involved with the Phoenix Chamber of the American Marketing Association.
In addition to serving as the Communications & Marketing Chair for Keep Tempe Beautiful, Natalie helps to guide people experiencing a crisis by using good contact techniques and empathy as a Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line, and advises future business leaders to develop their career paths and support their personal and professional growth as an Undergraduate Student Mentor to ASU W.P. Carey School of Business students.
Natalie spends her free time traveling and experiencing new places, as well as exploring her own backyard and all of the beauty Arizona has to offer. She especially enjoys discovering new hiking trails with her dog.

About Michele
Michele has successfully served Arizona’s nonprofit industry for more than 28 years as a development professional and fundraising consultant. She specializes in innovative practices that help nonprofits maximize donor engagement with meaningful, intentional, realistic, efficient and sustainable strategies. Drawn from the passion, skills and success she discovered through a decade of engaging with female investors as the director of ASU Foundation’s Women & Philanthropy program, her consulting service offers a rare expertise that guides nonprofits in recognizing and accommodating the transformative role of women as donors. She is also a regular conference presenter on the women and philanthropy topic.
Active in the Association of Fundraising Professionals since 1998, Michele gives back to her profession currently serving as former chair and committee member of the Greater AZ Chapter’s Professional Mentor Program.
Michele M Rebeor Consulting, LLC is an active member of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce, where Michele participates in the Women In Business Council and other Chamber opportunities. Michele also practices what she preaches as a contributing member and business sponsor of the 100+ Women Who Care Valley of the Sun.
In addition to her volunteer board position of Fundraising & Development Chair for Keep Tempe Beautiful, Inc. she is an active volunteer for Copperheads Care – 161st Arizona Air National Guard, Ironman Arizona, AZ Adopt A Greyhound and more.
Michele is an Ironman triathlete, competitive rower and avid animal lover. She & Hoyt enjoy local and international travel as well as taking their dogs camping off the grid.

Barbara Blalock

About Barbara
Barbara was born and raised in Northern California and relocated to Phoenix in 2000. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Treasures 4 Teachers, a nonprofit organization providing free and low-cost supplies to teachers from the community’s reusable resources. Her education, experience and passion is in Early Childhood Education and Development. Her other passion has been improving the environment with a focus on creative reuse. She merged both of her passions into Treasures 4 Teachers in 2004 from her garage, where it has been going strong ever since.
